Workshops, masterclasses, mentoring & meet-ups

Free Fun

Join me and my friends at Woopi Backpackers on one of our FREE monthly photography meet-ups. Located in Woolgoolga on the mid-North coast of NSW, we cover everything from astrophotography to zoo critters.

Not from around here? No worries! My buddies at the Backpackers have you covered, regularly offering accomodation discounts for our From Woopi with Love- Photography Meet participants. Check us out on Facebook and Instagram and keep an eye out for our next event!

Formal Learning

Looking for more in-depth training? Well, I’ve got you covered! My regular workshops and masterclasses cover everything in my arsenal, with plenty of hands-on practise and a friendly learning experience.

You will walk away with wonderful new images for your folio, as well as the skills and techniques necessary to capture them again and again.

Scroll down and keep an eye on Instagram and Facebook, or email and get on the Learn mailing list!

I spent a year studying under a mentor (Scott Robert Lim) and I encourage any photographer serious about progressing their business, be it start-up or established studio, to consider learning from an experienced pro.

Face-to-Face and online programs are available and together we will cover everything to take your business to the next level, from folio building, style and technique to sales and marketing.

Let’s go! Email

Join me in Woolgoolga on the NSW Mid-North Coast for this 3 hour hands-on class (with an optional fourth hour photo walk). You will discover what the buttons and dials do and how to use them to get great pictures

The best way to learn is by doing, so we will take to the nearby beach to put your new skills into practise. You can also join me after the class for a photo walk around the famous Woolgoolga Headland – if we’re lucky we might spot some whales!

Over an included light lunch, provided by the perennially popular Bluebottles Brasserie, we will look at your camera, discover the controls that you need to know, and how to handle the most common photographic situations.

You will receive three hours of tuition from an experienced professional photographer in a small group environment.A light lunch, drinks and snacks are included as are take-away course notes so you can look back on what you learn.

You will need your DSLR camera (this class is not suitable for phone, point & shoot or film cameras), your camera’s instruction manual, as well as a jacket and walking shoes – we will be getting out to practise what we learn!

My next DSLR Basics class will be held at the Woopi Backpackers on Sunday 8th July from 11am – 3pm. The all-inclusive class price is $45 and for those of you looking to turn your workshop into a holiday, my friends at the Backpackers are offering a special deal on dorm and private rooms! You can book via the payment below, or email
